Heavy Super Field Tractors
Weight
Engine/Turbo/Fuel System
- RPM Limit is restricted to 2800 RPM with 1% tolerance.
- All tractors will be equipped with an IAMO approved RPM sensor and telemetry with 2008 female plug.
- Fuel Injection Pumps will be stock appearing for that make and model.
- ABSOLUTELY NO "P" PUMPS ALLOWED
- Roosamaster max at .450 head
- Ambac model 100 Max at 13MM
- Simms pump max at 11.5MM
- Bosch "A" max at 10MM
- No water injection or injection of any alternative fuels.
- Turbo charger limitations. Tractors may run one turbo no larger than or equivalent to 3LM466 (2.33 Inlet x 2.75 Outlet). NO Slots, NO Slugs (permanent or removable) or Reducers.
- Cubic Inch Limitations. Any tractor may run stock cubic inch for Make and Model of tractor being pulled. Any tractor running a stock engine smaller than 466 cubic inches may "power-up" the existing OEM power-plant to the 466 cubic inch limit. Note: The tractor named Lil' Ruckus owned and/or operated by Corwin Cox and John Duff is "Grandfathered" as a 970 Case tractor with a 504 cubic inch power-plant. This tractor is to be no larger than 504 Cubic inches.
- Inter-coolers are not allowed. No aluminum or billet heads and no after-market heads.
- Tractor must run factory intake and exhaust manifolds. No spacers between manifolds and cylinder heads. Note: Tractors that were non-turbocharged in factory form may build manifolds for turbo, if no factory parts are available for that series of engine.
- No deck plates between cylinder heads and blocks.
- Exhaust will have 2- 5/16" bolts as close to the elbow as possible at a 90 degree angle from each other and no more than two inches apart.
Tires
- Tire Size not to exceed 20.8x38
- No cut tires allowed.
- 18" rim width maximum.
- Front tires may be no smaller than 7.50x15 or
7.5Lx15 on any rim width.
Safety and Other Requirements
- NEW FOR 2010 and beyond. All tractors must be equipped with a factory style R.O.P. device or a 3 bar roll cage.
- All tractors must be equipped with a fire extinguisher within driver’s reach at all times.
- All tractors may DELETE PTO and PTO housings. (New for 2010)
- All tractors must be equipped with wheelie bars.
- Drawbar will not be over 20" from ground at point of pull. The point of pull will be a minimum of 18" from center line of rear axle. No pulling from 2 or 3 points allowed.
- All tractors running radiator fan blade must have side shields.
- All Diesel tractors will be equipped with an air shutter kill. Full Electrical kill must be provided if tractor has spark ignition.
