Turbo Limited Pro Stock Tractors
Weight
Chassis
1.
Component chassis are NOT allowed.
Engine
- 640 cubic inch
maximum displacement allowed. + or -1%.
- Engine cylinder
head must be OEM agricultural type for
the brand of engine. Port location
must be the same as stock with stock
manifolds using stock manifold bolt
pattern.
- Aftermarket
manifolds allowed but must bolt in
original port bolt pattern.
- Not overhead cams
allowed.
- No inner or after
coolers allowed.
Fuel System/Turbo
1. Any
single "P-Series" injection pump allowed. NO Sigma Pumps.
2. Any
single 4.1" smooth bore inlet turbo.
Tires
- Maximum tire size
allowed is 24.5 x 32.
Tread width not to exceed 25".
- Front tires may be no smaller than 7.50 x 15 or 7.5L x 15 on any rim width.
Safety
- All drivers
must wear a DOT approved helmet and neck
collar. A minimum single-layer
fire suit, shoes, head sock, and gloves.
- Five Point Harness required.
- All exhaust
must be discharged upward. No
curved stack or rain caps allowed.
Two 3/8 inch diameter bolts placed 90
degrees apart must be bolted through the
exhaust as close to the turbo as
possible.
- All
tractors must have skid bars that will
individually support the tractor
weighted to its heaviest class.
Skid bars must not be higher than 10
inches off the ground and at least 32
inches from center of rear axle.
- Tractors
must be equipped with a working air shut
off (diesel engines) or ignition kill
(gas). A 2 inch ring must be
attached to the end, and be positioned
48 inches above point of hook, and be no
more than six inches off center and must
be able to be pulled form the driver's
seat.
- All
tractors must have a spring-loaded
return to idle throttle.
- If the
tractor has a PTO, it must be covered.
- Tractors
must be equipped with full side shields
that cover engine below crank shaft
centerline. They must be a minimum
of .060 inch thick steel or aluminum.
They must be easily removed.
- All
tractors are required to have a white
reverse backup-light.
- All inline
pump tractors must have a fuel shut-off
that has a three-way diverter valve and
must run back to the fuel tank. It
must be able to be pulled from the dash
by the driver.
- Roll cages
must be SFI approved.
- All
tractors must have a quick release
steering wheel, swing-away column or
factory-tilt column or steering wheel.
- Must have
3/8 inch cable between 1-2 cylinders
with 2 clamps.
- All tractors must be equipped with a fire extinguisher within reach of the driver.
